Questions
What families ask before they book
If yours is not here, text the family line.
How is the price decided?
By the size of the home, how it is lived in, how often we come and what you ask for. Willa talks it through on the first call and confirms the number in writing before the first visit. How pricing works lays out what moves it.
What happens at the first visit, and does my parent need to be home?
We plan it with you and your parent beforehand, so nothing is a surprise. Your parent can stay, sit with us or go out. Whichever they choose is fine, and they can change their mind on the day.
How do you handle keys, door codes and community gates?
Your parent decides. We can be let in, use a hidden key or a lockbox code, or be on the gate list. Anything we hold is written down, kept apart from the address, and handed back when you stop. The policies page has the detail.
Will it be the same people each time?
Yes, as far as we can make it so. Two of us rotate through the standing visits. If one is out, Willa texts you and calls your parent with the name of who is coming before anyone arrives.
Can you give a certificate of insurance?
Yes. Ask Willa and she sends a certificate with our limits listed. The footer shows our county business tax receipt, and Florida issues no statewide license for house cleaning.
What if something is missed, broken or missing?
Tell us, by text or by phone, and Willa answers the same business day. Missed work is redone at the next visit or sooner. A broken or missing item is written down with you and your parent, and we go through what happened together. The policies page has the order we follow.
What do you clean with, and can it be fragrance-free?
We bring our own cloths, vacuums and a short list of products. If your parent has their own, we use those. Fragrance-free products are available on request; tell us at the first call and we write it on the visit card.
What if my parent forgets we are coming, or does not answer the door?
We call your parent when we are ten minutes out. If nobody answers, we call you, then wait ten minutes. We do not go in unless a key was left for us for exactly this, and we ask you to check in on your parent.
Do you help with bathing, medicines, meals or errands?
No. We clean homes; we are not caregivers. If your parent has a home-care aide, we work around their schedule. If your parent needs personal care, a home-care agency or their doctor can point you to the right help.
What does cancelling cost?
Nothing, up to 24 hours before a visit. Later than that we bill half the visit's quoted time, because the crew has held the slot. Willa will waive it if your parent has had a fall or a hospital stay. You can stop standing visits at any time, by text.
Which areas do you cover?
Sarasota, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Osprey, Venice, Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton. We keep to one stretch of coast so the same two people can reach every standing visit without a long drive.
Still wondering?
Text or call. Willa answers the same business day.
