Willa takes the first call, plans every first visit and reads every note before it goes out.

Whose home it is
Your parent's home stays your parent's home
You are arranging this, but they are the one who lives there. So the visit is built around what they want, not around a checklist.
We ask before we move a chair, open a cabinet or change a bed. If your parent would rather we skip a room, we skip it.
We do not open drawers, mail or medicine cabinets
We never hold cash, cards or pills, and we do not take anything out of the home
We leave a card with the day's notes, in large print
We tell you what we saw, and leave the judging to you and the doctor

A first visit
How a first visit works for your parent
Six steps, in this order, with the same two people each time. A first visit is longer than the ones after it, so we plan it with you first.
- 01
Step 1: A call with you, and with your parent if they want it
Willa asks what a good visit looks like to them: which rooms matter, what is not to be touched, what time of day suits them, and who to ring if they do not come to the door.
- 02
Step 2: The day before, a name and a window
Your parent gets a call and you get a text with the name of who is coming and a two-hour window. Nobody should find a stranger at the door.
- 03
Step 3: At the door, two of us and two names
We say who we are, and ask where your parent would like us to start. They can sit with us, stay in another room or go out.
- 04
Step 4: We clean around their things
Nothing is moved without asking, and whatever is moved goes back. We leave medicines, mail, cash and papers where they are.
- 05
Step 5: Before we leave, a walk-through
We go through the house with your parent and ask what to do differently next time. A card by the door says who came and what we did.
- 06
Step 6: That evening, a text to you
A few plain lines: what we did, and anything we noticed, such as a burnt-out bulb or a loose rug. We tell you what we saw. We do not guess at health.
What we do
Four ways to help the house keep up
Pick one or combine them. Willa builds the plan with you and takes out anything your parent does not want.

Standing visits
Every week, every two weeks or monthly, on the same day and hour.
About standing visits
A deep clean
Baseboards, the oven, cabinet fronts and the things a regular visit skips.
About the deep clean
Season openings and homecomings
The house opened before winter residents arrive, closed before they leave, or readied before a homecoming.
About openings and homecomings
Linens and the fridge
Sheets washed and the bed made, and the fridge checked for food gone off, with your parent's okay.
About linens and the fridge
Who comes
Willa, Gilda and Silas
A small crew on purpose. Your parent learns three names, and nobody else turns up without a call first.
Gilda Aldana
Lead cleaner
Gilda leads the standing visits and writes the card that stays by the door.
Silas Mackey
Cleaner
Silas does the deep cleans and season openings, with Gilda.
From families
What families tell us
“I live in Atlanta and my mother lives in Gulf Gate. The text after the first visit said the guest sheets were changed and the porch light was out. I had not asked about either.”
“My dad did not want strangers in the house. Willa called him first and asked what he wanted left alone. Now he puts the kettle on when Gilda comes.”
“They put things back where they were. My mother can still find her reading glasses, and the house smells like nothing in particular, which is what she wanted.”

A few questions first
The rest are on the questions page.
How is the price decided?
By the size of the home, how it is lived in, how often we come and what you ask for. Willa talks it through on the first call and confirms the number in writing before the first visit. How pricing works lays out what moves it.
What happens at the first visit, and does my parent need to be home?
We plan it with you and your parent beforehand, so nothing is a surprise. Your parent can stay, sit with us or go out. Whichever they choose is fine, and they can change their mind on the day.
How do you handle keys, door codes and community gates?
Your parent decides. We can be let in, use a hidden key or a lockbox code, or be on the gate list. Anything we hold is written down, kept apart from the address, and handed back when you stop. The policies page has the detail.
Will it be the same people each time?
Yes, as far as we can make it so. Two of us rotate through the standing visits. If one is out, Willa texts you and calls your parent with the name of who is coming before anyone arrives.
Do you help with bathing, medicines, meals or errands?
No. We clean homes; we are not caregivers. If your parent has a home-care aide, we work around their schedule. If your parent needs personal care, a home-care agency or their doctor can point you to the right help.
